DirecTV Programming Packages : Entertainment

For those people who have never used satellite television, or have never even seen it, maybe have been tempted lately to get on board with the low pricing DirecTV offers. However, there are concerns about DirecTV's service, DirecTV's programming, DirecTV's On Demand, HD Channels, etc. etc.

So, What does DirecTV really offer?

DirecTV Offers a number of packages, some for International residents who prefer programming in their native programming, others in Spanish, and a combination of all of the above, and the ones I'm going focus on, which are DirecTV's english packages. I think if you're reading this blog in english, it makes the most sense to talk about these. :)

The English Packages are categorized by the following names:

• Premier

The following packages are listed as a tiered format, and each offer more options and more until Premier which is DirecTV's top level package. Below I'll describe what the current offer is (As of 3/3/12) what you'll get as far as receivers, channels, and installation.

The big thing to take notice here on is the HD-DVR and 3 HD Receiver Upgrades (HD=High Defintion), and the professional installation.
